Happy new year!

It's been too long.

Too long it's almost like a whole year of my life just disappeared, sunken into the midst of my "so-called" passion. With much promise in the beginning before realizing the whole truth.

There I stood, looking back at myself. Asking myself. "What was I thinking?", "What happened?", "What was that?", "What the hell?!". Then I walked on. Never to look back.

So to say "It's nothing personal, it's just business." at the end of the day would be the right time now. Closing the year 2009 and it's miseries.

Here I am now, FREE.

First of all, I would like to wish a Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everyone.

2008 have been a wonderful and yet challenging year for me. I hope it's been a wonderful year for you guys too.

Comic Fiesta 2008 was GREAT!! Congrats to all the people who made it possible. I really hope CF keeps that kind of quality for 2009.

With all that aside, I recently rented myself a new apartment here in Damansara. Ever since I started working in the city, I was only able to rent a small room. Then I moved out to rent yet another small room. Now I have a whole apartment to myself. So, more space for me! (and a collegue of mine too, of course!)

Now I hope I can do some traditional paintings and freelance work. It's been a while since I've touched a canvas. I'm gonna turn the house into a messy studio and chase my friend out when he finds out i'm a freak of nature.

As of now, we're still dealing with the whole moving thing. Buying furnitures, tools, etc. I don't know how much i've spent in the last few days. (I'm estimating about RM2300 TT___TT )

I really need to start planning for next year. Adios!

Hey guys,

I haven't been updating my DA for some time. A long time actually.

I admit that I let myself float away from the one thing that I loved since childhood into a mainstream advertising business. Which obviously is KILLING me. I have been working at this agency for about 4 months now but it actually felt like 8 months. Time just flew by considering the fact that I have no life since I started working here. I don't get to hang out with friends and families anymore. I tried so hard to find the time but to no avail. The only time I have is for sleep. And then the madness starts all over again the next day.

But, I chose this road. I wanted this job. I accepted their agreements. I have to live with it no matter the cost. Pathetic.

What I don't understand is, how could I have survived doing something I had never done in my entire life?

It's truely a miracle. But for how long, that's the real mystery. I mean, the guys here practically sleep at the office. There was one time I had to sleep at the office for 4 days straight. It was inevitable. All the other guys went off on holiday so I had to complete all of their jobs. And I survived yet again.

Here's a list of reasons (or lame excuses):

1. I have been working my ass off 24/7 (literally).
2. I don't have time for anything else these days, even for myself.
3. No new comic-related artwork to show.
4. I officially have no life.

I HATE job hunting.

But it's a part of life. So, I did. I went down to Kuala Lumpur and crashed at 's place for a few days while I go on a series of interviews with a number of companies.

helped me out too. Thanks Lily!

Finally I got a job at an advertising agency as a visualizer. It's not something I'm into but it'll have to do for now until I can find something better.

Hopefully I'll start working as soon as I can get a place to stay. As of now, I'm staying with my family while searching for a new home.

I haven't been drawing or painting much as of late... *sighs* I think I'm having a creative block.

OK.I'm gonna stop writing now...(coz writing is still in the creative department and I've just told you guys that I have a creative block...So, there!)

This dreadful news struck me by surprise yesterday evening.

I was watching TV and all of a sudden I received a sms from a fellow comrade at KLP telling me that the company had just held a sudden meeting. The company had just fired all of the artists of KLP or in his word, "RELEASE" us.

I don't know what actually happened in that meeting since I wasn't there to witness the whole thing.

*sighs* I always knew that it would come to this one way or another.

But I'm not regretting anything. I mean, I learned a lot from my stay with KLP. I got to befriend some of the greatest talents Malaysia has ever known.

So, in my personal opinion, it's their loss. Not ours.

To my fellow comrades, don't give up. Just keep on fighting. Keep moving forward. Take this as a challenge and good luck!
